What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work; others are optional and used to measure how a site is used. Similar technologies — local storage, tags, and pixels — work in comparable ways, and where we say “cookies” below we mean all of them.
The cookies on this site
Strictly necessary
One small item of local storage remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again on every page. It holds a single value — whether you accepted or declined — and nothing else. This cannot be switched off, because without it the site couldn’t honour your decision.

This is aggregate and statistical — we don’t use it to identify you personally, and we don’t run advertising cookies. These load only after you click Accept. Until then they do not run at all.
Google processes this data as a provider on our behalf. See Google’s Privacy Policy for how they handle it.
